1. Who we are
HomewardFares is operated by VASA Trend AI LLC (dba HomewardFares), a business organised in the United States. Our postal address is 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. You can contact us at hello@homewardfares.com.
2. What the service is
HomewardFares is an information service. Our team searches publicly available airfares, picks ones we think are unusually good value, checks them, and sends them to members by email (and, where offered, other channels). We may add automated fare searching in future; a person will still review deals before they are sent. We are not a travel agent, airline or booking site. We do not sell tickets, take payment for flights, or act on your behalf with any airline or travel site.
When you follow a link in an alert, you deal directly with that airline or travel site under their own terms. Any booking, change, cancellation, refund, baggage issue or disruption is between you and them.
3. No guarantee of fares
- Fares change constantly and can disappear within minutes or hours. A price in an alert was the price we saw when we checked it, and may not be available when you look.
- We do not guarantee that any particular fare, route, date, cabin or number of deals will be available, or that you will save a particular amount.
- Prices may exclude some fees (for example, checked bags or seat selection) charged by the airline or travel site. Always check the final price and fare rules before you book.
- We take care to check deals, but we can make mistakes. Please check dates, airports, visas and travel documents yourself.
4. Your account
You need a valid email address to join. You sign in with a link we email you, so keep access to that inbox secure. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a paid plan. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date. One membership is for one person, or for one household on the Family plan.
5. Plans and prices
We offer a Free plan and paid plans (currently Standard and Family). Paid plans are billed yearly in the currency for your country, at the price shown at checkout. Where VAT, GST or sales tax applies it is shown or included as required. Plan features are described on our pricing page. We may change the features of the Free plan at any time.
6. Free trial
Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial unless we say otherwise at checkout. You give us a payment method when the trial starts. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your paid plan starts and we charge the yearly price shown at checkout. One free trial per person or household.
7. Automatic renewal
Paid plans renew automatically every year, and we charge your payment method the then-current yearly price, until you cancel. We email you a reminder with the date and amount about a month before each yearly renewal (between 15 and 45 days before it), and we email you 1 to 3 days before a free trial ends. If we plan to change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before the renewal it applies to, and you can cancel before then. Full details are in our auto-renewal terms.
8. Cancelling
You can cancel online at any time from your account page, which opens our billing portal run by Stripe. You can also email us and we will cancel for you. When you cancel, your plan will not renew and you keep paid access until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling during the trial means you are not charged.
9. Refunds
If you ask within 30 days of your first paid charge, we refund that charge in full. After that, and for renewal charges, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or where we choose to make an exception. See our refund policy.
10. Customers in the EU and UK
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a right to cancel a service contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Because the service starts as soon as you join, at checkout you ask us to start immediately. Our 30-day refund promise is longer than the 14-day period, so you can still cancel for a full refund of your first charge within 30 days. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
11. Fair use
- Alerts are for your personal use and, on the Family plan, your household’s.
- Do not resell, republish or redistribute our alerts in bulk, or share your account publicly.
- Do not scrape, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close a paid account without good reason, we will refund the unused part of your current year.
12. Affiliate links
Some links in our alerts and on our site are affiliate links. If you book through them, the travel site may pay us a commission. This does not change the price you pay and does not decide which deals we send.
13. Our content
The site, alerts and their content belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own travel planning. Fare data comes from third-party sources and may be inaccurate or out of date.
14. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a fare that changed or disappeared, a booking you made with a third party, or a flight delay, cancellation or disruption.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$50 if you have not paid us anything.
Some countries and US states do not allow certain exclusions or limits. Where that applies, our liability is limited only as far as the law permits. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects paid members, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then and, if you are mid-year, ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts. Before starting any formal dispute, please email us so we can try to sort it out.
